Tenancy deals go on record in the Ejari system, indicating the details of the lease, amount of deposit, rent payable, lease period, and other material terms. What is Ejari?
Ejari is an electronic registry of lease contracts. In the Emirates, every person is required by law to have a unique Ejari number. People use their Ejari number to get water, electric power, and telephony into their homes. The Ejari registration fee is for the tenant’s account.
Ejari registration requires a visit to a public services center or the use of a special app. You will need to complete some forms and pay a registration fee, and you also need to have the requisite documents on hand. You can complete Ejari registration on your own or let our consultants do it for you.
When they lease property, all our clients get an Ejari number. There is no access to utilities without an Ejari number, and if your landlord breaks the terms of the lease on you, you won’t be able to go to UAE authorities for compensation.
